Gillespie AWOS is up and running on 125.45.
ATIS and AWOS will compliment each other.
ATIS during the day with inputs from AWOS and the controllers, and
AWOS at night with any ATIS information added as required.
AWOS is now available
to pilots when the tower is closed from 2100(L) to 0700(L) on
the ATIS frequency 125.45.
There is also a new phone number for the ATIS
and AWOS, which is 619-449-1228.
ATIS
information will remain in effect during regular tower hours and
then AWOS info will be broadcasted when the tower is closed.
